Fight Biden’s War on your Car!
Biden has continued to put the Left’s climate agenda over the wellbeing of Americans. He has suspended oil and gas leases on public lands, canceled the Keystone XL pipeline, ordered all federal agencies to prioritize “environmental justice,” laid groundwork for banning gas stoves, and more.
Next on the chopping block are your gas cars and trucks. At Biden’s direction, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued a regulation that will reduce gas powered cars and trucks to just 33% of the new car market by model year 2032. This would make electric vehicles (EVs) 67% of the new car market which is an 11x increase from what it is now!
What does this mean for you…
- Cars and trucks will become less affordable: At the end of 2022, electric vehicles were on average $11,981 more expensive than gas-powered cars.
- No more summer road trips: The average range of EVs is 170 miles shorter than the average range of a gas powered car, making long-distance traveling harder.
- Power shortages: States across the country face power outages due to an outdated power grid infrastructure. Biden’s regulation would put tremendous additional stress on an already overburdened electrical grid by increasing the need for changing stations and the likelihood of increased blackouts.
- More jobs move offshore: The lithium and other rare earth metals needed for EV batteries are primarily sourced from China, our most dangerous political rival. Additionally, 56% or more of EV car batteries are produced by just six Communist Chinese Corporations.
