September 2022 Meeting Recap
- Greg Beyer opened the meeting with prayer and pledge.
- Dan Adams introduced Dustin Smith (Sheriff Elect) to give us an update. Dustin gave a very motivating speech highlighting the Constitutional Sheriff training he has received and that our group paid for. We then collected enough money to send two more deputies to the training! Dustin specifically said that if his office is instructed to collect guns from the citizens that he will not comply!
- Dan Adams reminded all that our next meeting dates are Oct 20th, Nov 17th, Dec 15th.
- CBA offered free bumper stickers to the group.
- Dan reminded all to spread the word of our group, we need to get to at least 100 attendees, this meeting had about 30 members and some new folks.
- CBA has a table at the Saturday air show in Andrews and asked for help manning the booth, (The table was a huge success with many new signups).
- We also started a petition to get voting machines removed and that petition had many signators, but we need more.
- Chris Hall gave an update on the Jural Assembly and indicated that the Assembly is on a mission although currently cannot be disclosed.
- Tamara Phillips gave handouts and appealed to the group that God needs to be in the front lines of our effort.
- Vince Peterson announced a new patriot group in Blairsville, “Union County Concerned Citizens”.
- Craig Hall gave an update on Voting Integrity and talked about some of the troublesome issues coming up.
- Greg Beyer had an extensive legislative report on:
- Leachate dumping in Young Harris sewage treatment plant that ultimately ends up in the Hiwassee River and NC reservoirs.
- 240,000 PLUS comments submitted on Biden’s Title IX rule change.
- Mar-A-Lago Raid is an attempt to distract from the many Biden regime failures — We must keep our eye on the ball and VOTE November 8.
- College debt forgiveness lawlessness and spending insanity.
- ESG – Environmental – Social – Governance: The new threat from the left.
- Open Floor time produce a very good discussion, mostly about the upcoming election.
- Max Norton gave the closing prayer.
