Welcome New Members
We want to thank all those who recently came to the very first meeting of the Citizens For a Better America. Our two guest speakers were fantastic, Hal Weatherman (Madison Cawthorn assistant) and Melody Clarke (Heritage Action). We all felt the energy and excitement level that was present that night. Now we need to direct that energy and excitement to some issues and action steps we can take.

- Help at our booth at the Art Walk in Murphy on June 4th, 5 to 8 PM
- Join us again on June 17 for the 2nd public meeting and bring a friend. Let’s double or triple our size!
- Write a letter to the Editor of all or any newspapers (list found on “How you can take action on our website)
- Call your representatives and let them know how you feel about key issues (contacts found on “How you can take action” on our website)
- At our next meeting we hope to organize “break out” groups that have a special interest in a particular area of concern. Please think about the topic you are most passionate about and be ready to join or lead a group.
