Crash the Senate Switchboard – Defeat $1Trillion Infrastructure Bill!

Over the weekend, a group of twenty Republicans and Democrats announced they had come to an agreement on the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (H.R. 3684), a $1 trillion bipartisan “infrastrastructure” spending package. Not only is a fraction of the bill’s spending on actual infrastructure, the spending is “paid” for using slick accounting gimmicks.
Democrats have made clear that passing this bill is a prerequisite to passing the rest of President Biden’s catastrophic agenda through a Democrat-only reconciliation package. The reconciliation package is expected to cost another $3.5 trillion and include nearly every Democrat priority—from mass amnesty for illegal aliens, to the PRO Act, to job-killing corporate tax increases. And, because Democrats have stripped the Hyde Amendment from all funding bills, abortion can be, and, with this pro-baby-killing regime, will be funded with your tax dollars.
President Biden, Leader Schumer and Congressional Democratic leadership have been telling us for months that these two packages are linked. Speaker Pelosi continues to declare she will hold this bipartisan infrastructure package hostage until the Senate passes a reconciliation bill. Additionally, moderate Democrats have openly said that passing the bipartisan bill is the key to getting their vote for the reconciliation bill, meaning that the bipartisan infrastructure bill is a trojan horse and voting for it would enable the enactment of a Democratic agenda that will fundamentally remake America.
The Senate will debate and consider the bill this week, and a vote on passage could occur later this week. We must make Washington hear loud and clear we want NOTHING to do with this monster of a spending bill. Bring down the Senate switchboard with your calls!
